Perfect Brightness, Eternal Spring

Perfect Brightness, Eternal Spring is a preview publication of a forthcoming project by Dustin Lin. Perfect Brightness, Eternal Spring serves as a non-linear meditation on memory and change. The work comprises three parts: archival images from my grandparents’ collection that span the last century, original images made in China over the last three years, and a facsimile reproduction of Chopin’s Ballades, hand-notated by my grandfather during the Cultural Revolution.
